Colleen Gibbons

Colleen is thrilled to be on such a wonderful team of Ghostlight founders who feel more like family!
After graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Special Education, she returned to her alma mater, Lyons Township High School, as a special education teacher. After many years of advocacy with the administrators and the school board, she successfully launched the American Sign Language program at LTHS and is now happily teaching ASL in the World Language department (and, let’s face it, to anyone who will pay attention to her!)
At Ghostlight, Colleen gets to wear many hats as stage manager, lighting designer, sound designer, master electrician, prop fabricator, and effects designer to name a few. She is so excited to bring the world of technical theatre to our amazing students to help them grow into well-rounded artists!
